Are you a young person, age 13-22, interested in peace building? The Way Mindfulness Education is sponsoring 20 free tickets for young people to attend the third annual Gandhi Talk, featuring Ela Gandhi, granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi.
Ela Gandhi worked with Nelson Mandela and others to end Apartheid in South Africa, spending a total of 9 years under house arrest during the fight against Apartheid. She and her grandfather Mahatma Gandhi are examples of how to engage in politics with mindfulness, reducing suffering and increasing well being for all people.
Eligibility and Notes
Young people ages 13-22 who are residents of Palm Beach County are invited to apply for a free ticket to this special event.
Limit one general admission ticket per applicant ($35 value).
Free tickets are for the lecture by Ela Gandhi; they do not include entrance to the VIP reception following the lecture.
FAU students are entitled to $10 student tickets, so they are not eligible for free tickets sponsored by The Way Mindfulness Education.
